Mobile CRM for Leading Medical Supplies Company
The world’s fourth largest medical products provider required an existing CRM application to be delivered to its remote sales force of 80 staff in the UK.
The sales team were unable to gain the best use of their laptop-based sales tools, mainly due to the laptop’s bulky nature. An exciting opportunity developed to deploy targeted features and functionality from the existing system to their extensive field sales force via an alternative device.
By working closely with key business sponsors it became clear that handheld devices could provide a valuable business tool to the sales team.
Large volumes of sales and contact data are stored in the enterprise CRM, and appropriate data is filtered down to sales persons by applying relevant business rules based on territory, channel and contact activity. This data is then delivered to the Pocket PC once daily using the sales teams existing laptop and remote access capability.
